Supraspinatus tendinitis can be treated with Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, painkillers and massage. The condition may benefit from injections of corticosteroids, and in rare cases, surgery is necessary.
Arthroscopic surgery can remove bone spurs and inflamed tissue around the shoulder. It is possible that there can be a small tear in the tendon, which can be repaired with arthroscopy. (Larger tears may require open surgery through a larger incision.)
